I like to read. A lot. And this year I discovered the robust audio section of the Seattle Public Library system, so audio books are now competing with my favorite podcasts. I think I listened to as many books as I read. This isn’t a hashtag humblebrag, only to say that I could’t narrow down my favorite books this year to just five. Instead, I’m going to offer my top 5 in 4 categories. These are not books that released in 2021, necessarily. I just happened to read them this year.
